• Required elements of a heat illness prevention program.
• Preparation for and items required to prevent heat illness.
• Warning signs, symptoms and precautions.
• Discuss and clarify when heat illness requirements are needed, what is shade, and water replenishment.
• Training: for employees and supervisors, and what is to be covered.
• Emergency response: what is required, how to implement.
Instructor: Eric Anderson - Boretti, Inc.
Eric has a diverse background in the field of environmental, health and safety. Eric has been responsible for the development, implementation, and management of safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure the company complies with all federal, state and local safety laws. This required Eric to become familiar with all aspects company’s concepts, practices, and procedures to achieve their safety goals. Eric is a certified IVES Master trainer, allowing him to provide safety certification training for most pieces of equipment, and an Authorized OSHA Instructor for Construction.
